“The picture is born before my eyes as something unexpected, magical, fully reflecting my subconscious at the moment. Revealing spontaneously, without any plans or sketches in advance, my hands only keep up with the ideas and fantasies that come.
So, when I start painting, I don't have any particular goal other than to enjoy the color and shapes in whimsical images. It can be a play of light and shadow, some lines and shapes, bizarre creatures or silhouettes. Each painting is like an adventure that begins with the first impulse and ends with the last stroke of the brush.
